He used to work at the Taxi stand on Shankar road. He was running towards the Ridge...he would never have been able to able to make it. We hid him and hoped nobody saw us do it.<br />Having said that...nobody ever talks about all the innocent non-sikhs who were routinely killed in Punjab before these riots. Whilst the Prime Minister of India has apologised for the carnage that happened after Indira Gandhi was assasinated by those who were supposed to have protected her with her own life, has ANY sikh ever apologised for the countless Hindus that were killed by the extremists in Punjab?<br />If anybody thinks I am justifying one act by quoting another, they need to know me better and I couldn't be bothered about them...so don't anybody accuse me of it!<br />I just feel we forget very easily and conveniently some aspects of this country's tragic past.sunil varmanoreply@blogger.com
